RLH Properties sells Rosewood Villa Magna and Bless Hotel Madrid to Sancus Capital in Spain

The Mexican company dedicated to the acquisition of luxury and ultra-luxury hotel assets, RLH Properties, has agreed to sell the Rosewood Villa Magna and Bless Hotel Madrid to Sancus Hotels, an investment vehicle belonging to the Sancus Capital Partners group created by Borja Escalada.

RLH Properties stated that after acquiring and injecting resources into both properties, it has capitalized on its investment in Spain to solidify its position as the leading luxury and ultra-luxury hotel company in Mexico and the Caribbean.

The company’s future strategy will continue to focus on the acquisition, management, and development of assets located in unique locations with high barriers to entry, in markets with low supply relative to current and projected demand, and in partnership with the best international hotel operators.

This transaction allows Sancus Capital Partners to incorporate a specialized hotel industry investment vehicle into its portfolio.

Rosewood Villa Magna is an ultra-luxury hotel that has just completed its comprehensive renovation and has been managed by Rosewood Hotel Group since 2021, based on its “Sense of Place” model.

The second property is Bless Hotel Madrid, managed by Palladium Hotel Group under its luxury brand, Bless Collection. Located in the heart of the Salamanca neighborhood, this luxury property was inaugurated in 2019.
